102. Piscator Bible

An album of woodcuts on biblical stories with comments in Latin by a printer, woodcut master and publisher Nicholas Piscator used to be very popular in 17-18th cc. It includes about 500 woodcuts by the best Dutch masters of the second half of the 16th c. – 17 c. The presented edition was printed in 1646 in Alkmaar, the text was written by the Dutch Mennonite Philip Skhabalie in Dutch.
